Our Story
In 2023, my family made a big move and like many families, we quickly discovered how stressful packing can be.
For weeks, we searched store after store trying to collect enough cardboard boxes. The boxes were never the right size, they wouldn’t stack properly, and no matter how much tape we used, they didn’t always hold together. Some broke when they got too heavy. One box got wet and damaged several others nearby. And after the move was over, we were left with a garage full of mismatched cardboard boxes we didn’t know what to do with.
It was frustrating, time-consuming, and unnecessary.
That experience stuck with me.
In 2026, I decided to take my first step into entrepreneurship by creating a tote rental service designed to make moving easier for families like mine. Instead of dealing with unreliable cardboard boxes, our goal is to provide sturdy, reusable totes that stack better, protect your belongings, and reduce stress during one of life’s busiest moments.

Frequently Asked Questions
What types of totes do you offer for rent?
We provide yellow top, black body 27 gallon totes. The standard weight limit is 50-100 lbs of distributed weght.
Do you move the Totes for us?
No, we do not fill, load, or transport totes with your personal property inside of them. We deliver the empty totes to your current address. 2 Weeks later, after you have moved, we will pick up the empty totes from your new address.
What is the rental period for the totes?
Our standard rental period is 14 days, however, if you have other needs, please contact us at Carter@cartertoterentals.com
Do you offer delivery and pickup services?
Yes, we offer complimentary pickup and delivery within Calloway County. If your move involves a location outside of Calloway County, please contact us at Carter@cartertoterentals.com to discuss how we may assist with your moving needs.
Please note: Delivery and pickup services outside of Calloway County are subject to additional fees.
How do I get a subscription
Email us at carter@cartertoterentals.com to get set up with a subscription to our tote rentals.
How do I cancel my subscription
Subscriptions can be canceled at any time just email us at carter@cartertoterentals.com. After 2 months of your subscription you can cancel for free. If you want to cancel your subscription before that, there will be a $125 cancelation fee.
